This CCPA Policy supplements the information contained in our Privacy Policy and applies solely to visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California (“consumers” or “you”). We adopt this policy to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA). Any terms defined in the CCPA/CPRA have the same meaning when used in this policy.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account information, health data, biometric data, or precise geolocation data.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use the personal information collected for the business purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including:

  • Operating and improving our pool cost estimator tool
  • Analyzing website traffic and usage patterns to enhance user experience
  • Serving relevant advertisements through Google AdSense
  • Responding to inquiries submitted through our Contact Us page
  • Detecting and preventing fraud or security incidents

3. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties in exchange for money.

You have the right to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes (such as targeted ads served through Google AdSense).

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level of quality because you exercised your privacy rights.

  • A description of the right you wish to exercise (Know, Access, Delete, Correct, or Opt Out)

We will verify your identity before processing any request. We are not able to respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity and confirm that the personal information relates to you.

We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 days and respond within 45 days of receipt. If we require more time, we will notify you of the reason and extension period in writing.

6. How to Opt Out of Personalized Advertising

To opt out of personalized advertising served by third parties, including Google, on our Site:

  • Visit the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page at: https://optout.networkadvertising.org
  • Enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser — we honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out request for cross-context behavioral advertising

7. Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request under the CCPA on your behalf. We will require written proof of the agent’s permission to act on your behalf and may require you to verify your identity directly with us.
